Open the normal customer buy or sell panel.
Select the speech bubble near the price to show available negotiation choices.
Hover over a choice to compare the new price and faction-reputation change.
Choose once; the negotiation option locks for this transaction.
Confirm only if the final credit amount and faction effect fit your plan.
Compare the trade before confirming
Reputation changes occur when credits change hands. The demo patch displays separate buy-side and sell-side multipliers, so read the number for the direction of your deal. For the effects of repeated choices, see the faction reputation guide. A deeper discount is not automatically better if it removes the cash needed for rent.
If the speech bubble is missing
First check that this is a regular customer sale or purchase. Barter-style transactions and Dr Jackson trades can use different controls. If the tutorial mentions negotiation before the button appears, continue its current prompts and check the next eligible customer.
