Probably Stolen locked security crates require a compatible keycard. A red Security card opens both the red Security crate and the black Evidence crate in the playtest; a Command card can open all crate types. Check the label before spending a single-use card.

Probably Stolen locked security crates: card check

  1. Read the crate type and colour in the current build.

  2. Compare it with the name and colour on the card you hold.

  3. Use a matching card only when you are ready to open and store the contents.

  4. Inspect each item after opening; the crate's status and its contents can differ.

Match the card to the crate

Do not waste a Supply card on a Security lock. Demo 049 stopped stocking Supply and Science cards and chips because corresponding supply crates were absent at that point. If a list includes those as obtainable in your build, check your current vendor stock first. Goods taken from a crate may still need the Security storage check before going into open inventory.

If the crate will not open

Read the card's exact label again. Several card families exist, and similar-looking names can lead to the wrong lock. If the correct card fails, confirm it has not already been consumed and try the current build's crate interaction rather than guessing at another colour.
