Probably Stolen inventory management works best when the display, working stock and risky goods have different places. Clear valuables from the exposed outside counter before sleeping, and keep contraband out of ordinary visible storage.

Probably Stolen inventory management routine

  1. Put goods chosen to attract customers in the display before opening.

  2. Keep saleable stock in accessible inventory, separated from crafting inputs and tools.

  3. Move stolen or contraband goods to appropriate concealed storage when available.

  4. Before closing, remove valuables from the outside counter.

  5. Sort the remaining grid and leave space for tomorrow's purchases or production output.

Separate stock by risk

A smuggler bay is intended for heated goods; an open display is not. If your working grid fills quickly, distinguish unsold stock from inputs you are saving for a specific machine. For new storage or equipment, visit Dr Jackson's shop and preview the container before spending rent money.

Faster controls in the demo

Demo 049 added drag selection for multiple items, right-click sorting on a grid inventory, mouse-wheel rotation and a Delete key action that sends an owned item to the trash. Multi-select can move grouped goods together, while Shift enables more precise placement in another inventory. Check the item is yours before expecting those actions to work.
